It's 7am I'm drinking some awesome green tea while typing this blog, I am so very excited about personal training on any smart phone and on any platform like Skype,Viber,Whatsap Etc! This new style of Personal training is severely underestimated! Can you imagine how much motivation and prolific exercises you can do while traveling or in the comfort of your home?
Online Personal training through your mobile device is absolutely awesome and you've got to try it! It's simple all you need is a Smart phone and a workout location, You set up the smart phone pointed towards your workout location and you're done! Our workout is around 30mins or longer depending and done!
Its absolutely life changing and highly luxurious especially when the Trainer is LIVE paying attention to your form and questions the entire time! So what are you waiting for?! The new year is upon us and you've got goals to reach! Lets Do This!

Weight loss doesn't have to be so difficult! The key is eating the right amount of calories each day to help you towards your goal, If 1 pound of Fat is 3500 calories then cutting 500 calories from your RMR ( Resting Metabolic Rate) you should at the very least be losing 1 pound a week maybe even more depending on your activity levels, A LOT of people's first reaction to hearing this is '' I CANT OPERATE WITHOUT FOOD! I"LL DIE AHHHH'' You'll be absolutely fine first of all you've probably been in a caloric surplus for a long time maybe years of eating a 100+ surplus daily. And in time that tiny 100 extra calories adds up and eventually you'll be in a bad spot.
Men and Females listen carefully counting calories takes some effort, If you're cooking a meal at home its best to measure your food how many cups are you using how many calories are in each cup? How many ounces of chicken breast are you cooking? You can use myfitnesspal app to help you count calories or just do what I do, Write it down on a physical meal Journal you keep with you. ''What if I'm out and about and can't cook a meal?'' Easy, If you're going to oh.. Lets say Chick'fil'a (not sponsored) they have all their calories listed on their website menu its super easy to count calories that way. Losing weight is super super easy if you get this counting calories thing down.
Here's a few FAQs about losing weight
'How much water am I suppose to drink?'' Take your ideal body weight divide it in half and that's around how many ounces of water you'll want to drink daily.
''How many times should I weigh myself '' This ones tricky because everyone's different for ME I weigh myself every Damn day! It keeps me keen on if I'm either gaining or losing.
'' How many meals should I have a day? '' You've heard this a lot, ''eat a lot of tiny meals'' Lol, you can if you want to eat like a chipmunk all day and never get that sense of satisfaction. sure, OR you can do what I do and eat 1-2 meals strategically timed, For example if I'm just eating 2 meals I break my fast at around 2pm which is my bigger meal then have a smaller snack near my bedtime because nobody likes to sleep on an empty stomach.

Online personal training is here and holy guacamole it works! You can workout anywhere I mean it anywhere at any time, It's insane on how much time you can save just by working out at home, It's shocking to me that's the majority of the population thinks they can't get results at there very home!
Picture this, You training session begins in 5mins from now you've got your yoga mat ready your number one favorite playlist going and boom! The training session begins,(Aww Yeaa!) Before you know it you're doing squats, burpees, push ups, core exercises! While the trainer makes sure you're not hurting your knees and spine (because your body is very very important!) You're laughing you're into the moment and ding ding ding you're workouts done you feel upbeat and you're ready for your day! (which is going to be freaking great!)
Online personal training is the future, Now... don't get stuck with just a program to follow, Sure a programs great we should all have guidelines and a plan, however a Personal Trainer SHOULD BE PERSONAL!!!! Train 1 on 1 with them atleast twice a week! An Online personal trainer should be involved in your progress and should personalize with you.
I do all these things, I personalize with my clients always making sure there moving forward and if not motiviating them to get back on it! (Gosh Darnit we're on a mission can't be messing around!)

I get this question a lot and I will always say, If you want to the best possible
results from working out I reccommed working out atleast 5 days a week. Now if you're just trying to
mostly lose bodyfat I would stick with cardio 3 days a week and resistance training 2 times a week.
Or you can even start off your workouts (all 5) with a warm up on cardio then finish out with resistance training.
Now if you're new to fitness you can try starting out with 3 times a week giving yourself a day of rest inbetween
your workouts. Listen to your body whenever you're working out, If your body gives you an alarm reaction like
a sharp pain somewhere its time to back off that exercise for a bit. You also shouldn't be spending more than
45mins-1 hour working out. (I'm a huge advocate of training at home so that'll save you some time from driving to and from the gym.)
Make sure you have a plan before you just decide to go workout, Write out the exercises you'll be doing and how many reps tailor it to yourself. As your online personal trainer its my duty to make sure your exercises are best for you, because we're all built differently. Something that may agree with somebody else's body might disagree with yours.
So that's my advice, If you're just starting out workout 2-3 times a week, If you've been working out for quite sometime then I highly suggest 5 days a week. Keep in mind that you must be in a caloric deficit in order to lose body fat % no matter how much you're working out. The first step towards getting a slim waist and a bigger but is understanding that you'll be trying to lose weight around the waist and gain muscle for the glutes, Understand that the Gluteus Maximus is the largest muscle in your body so it'll need plenty of resistance training and calories in order to build it.
You're going to want to drink lots plenty of water, get plenty of rest and work your Glutes atleast 2 times a week where you achieve around 90% exhaustion every time you work them, A lot of people make the mistake of Training glutes but never feed them so they never end up growing, Remember this is the largest muscle in your body so you've got to eat a caloric surplus and make sure you eat enough protein if you're wanting them to grow.
It takes time to build muscle, you're doing great if you pack on 1 to 2 pounds of muscle on in a Month. The key here is consistency don't get discouraged if you're not seeing your Glutes grow within the first 2 weeks. It takes dedication and perseverance . Lets recap!
1. Work your Glutes out with resistance training
2. Eat a caloric surplus because the Glutes are the Largest Muscle
3. Sleep enough in order for that muscle to rebuild itself and grow
4. Drink enough water and don't get discouraged (keep at it)

There's a reason why achieving your goal is such a powerful meaningful thing, It's suppose to be hard, It's suppose to test your mental strength, physical strength and build your character, You've got to fight towards your goal every hour of every day; every last gram of food you digest; every last minute you're sleeping and awake. All decisions must lead to your goal and all goals must be in sight!
If you're serious about your fitness goal its time to stop messing around and actually put all your effort towards it! Yes, you must count your calories, If you're trying to drop weight and fat you must keep your target in sight and stick to your plan all throughout your day and week (that means the weekend as well). There is no such thing as a cheat meal let alone a cheat day.
You're bound to mess up some times, but that's why its important you get back up or stop yourself next time you find yourself messing up. For example, if your friends always want to go out on weekends and have a few drinks you've got to say NO! .You have a goal in mind and you'll have to whatever it takes regardless of someone else's feelings. You are on a Mission!
Your goal should boil in your veins and you should have such a strong passion that you're willing to never turn back again. Stand tall and go after your goal because your goal wont come to you.

We've seen it all over the place on the internet, People making losing weight much more complicated than it really is, Whether you're Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo, Ketogenic , Raw food diet, Mediterranean diet it doesn't and will not work unless you're in a caloric deficit.
I cannot stress how important it is to count your calories, You can get overweight by eating very healthy foods, If you're eating more than your metabolic rate in healthy food you're going to gain fat, It doesn't matter how healthy the food is. you'll still gain fat! So you must be in a caloric deficit!
Not counting calories is setting yourself up for failure, Its this simple, If you're in a 300-500 caloric deficit you should be losing 1.5 - 3 pounds a week. You can't go around it! It's the law of thermodynamics. Here's my advice If you're serious about losing fat!
1. Use a metabolic rate calculator and find your Resting Metabolic Rate (I'll add a link in the bottom)
Subtract 500 calories from that number.
2. Start counting calories and watch your weight for 2 weeks. Depending on how your body reacts from
the 500 caloric deficit you determine whether you cut more calories you add more. You want to aim towards losing 2 pounds a week.
You may have any dietary restrictions, It really doesn't matter because you're not going off based what you're eating but by the number of calories you're eating. Everyone is different but we all share the same Law of Thermodynamics we must abide from. Don't let healthy food fool you into believing you can lose weight if you only eat healthy food. Technically you can get morbidly obese from Salads without dressing if you eat enough of them. Count your calories!
